My name is Carole Weatherhead and I am the daughter in law of William Weatherhead.
Yesterday I received the latest copy of your magazine and realised that whilst I had advised some Gunners of the death of my father in law, I had failed to notify your organisation.
Sadly, Bill passed away on 3 January 2009 at Somerfield House in Christchurch. He had been suffering from Alzheimers during that time. He was aged 88 years and a Life Member of your Association.
Our thoughts and condolences to Bill's family; he is well remembered by many of us.
