Those miniatures: Pt 2

In those days a miniature for the Brit GSMs - Korea,Vietnam - were relatively cheap at 2-3 dollars. Any retrospective awards for campaigns before 1975 - NZGSM Malaya (60-64), NZGSM Korea (54-57), for instance - one had to buy the miniatures. The cost has risen somewhat over the years . . .

The $30 paid by the Korean Vet would not be for a single miniature - possibly two depending on which medals they were.

[So the conclusion seems to be that there is nothing new in expecting VN Vets to pay for their miniature GSM.]
